ou know those weddings you know you will never forget? Well, this was one of them. Since I first met Masha (and realized we had like 5,000 of our favorite friends in common), I couldn't wait for their wedding. Masha is the most loving, easy-going, darling little being I may have ever come to know. And Jeremy is just one of the guys--cool, equally chill, and madly in love with his Masha. The wedding was 100% about friends, family, food, good times and LOTS of dancing. This is one of those dancing crowds that keep you grinning from ear to ear all night.

THE PROS AND CONS TO A POST-WEDDING SESSION //
These are my favorite. You meet up at a location after your wedding and have something similar to an engagement session, but in your wedding attire! You can go as simple, or as all out as you want with this! Many brides are now electing to do Post-Wedding Session with their fiance/groom instead of the traditional bridal session. Although the session will definitely be focused on both of you, we will also take some more traditional portraits of each of the Bride and Groom alone. Brides will often do hair + makeup again, and even sometimes a bouquet. We have brought decor from the wedding to the session to incorporate the wedding them in to the post-wedding session as well. There are so many advantages to this approach, but there are a few items you may want to consider!
The ceremony was situated just aside a gently rippling creek. The grass was almost neon green, and the leaves rustled gently, almost to the tune of bumbling stream. A cool breeze brushed past the pavilion where Blake and Lorissa said their vows. As people began to arrive, final details and decor were being placed out. The band was practicing, the boys were in the back room toasting, and the girls were applying a final coat of lip color and checking out the window to watch the guest find their seats.
Their wedding was beautiful--incredibly meaningful, and seemed to really have a grasp on what was meaningful to them: lots of love, lots of thought, lots of good people, food, booze, and dancing. The House on the Hill was the perfect hill country venue for their soiree. Gorgeous light poured through the rooms, expansive balconies sprawled from every space to enjoy the views, and the grounds felt a bit like your own.
You guuuyssss....! Meet Mr. and Mrs. BOTKIN!!!! I am so excited for these two, and I am about to tell you a little bit why.
So, I had a super-special weekend and just couldn't wait to post about it. I got a new cousin! Woot! Her name is Katie and she is beautiful and got the crazy-awesome last name I grew up with. :) LUBOJASKY (loo-bow-jah-ski). That's right.
